There are some beautiful celestial events that are visible only on certain locations on Earth at certain times. Their rarity and poor availability, combined with their beauty, drives people to travel to be able to see them.

These celestial events are awesome if there's a related government department that would sponsor. People can gather with their telescopes, do some star gazing while the sponsors pass along hot cocoas and coffee on custom mugs. It's something to look forward to.
